Vacation...
Have been on vacation. Many photos to post & catch up on my days, though I have definitely been sticking with the Project while we've been away! Will update once we've settled back at home - most likely Monday.

Day 16
Wow, over 2 weeks already! I've been having such a good time with this. I've decided that I'm going to start relearning photography again. Found a great tutorial online & after reading it, feel like that was a wonderful refresher. Think I'm going to focus on one thing at a time. Perhaps the next few days will be working on apertures, and then switching off to shutter speed, etc etc. Whatever! It's a blast working with a camera again. I forgot how much I love it.
On to today's photos. Sorry, yet again, I couldn't pick one!
Logan upset that Mommy dared to put him in time out after he threw a car at me.
Picture that defines our son - 99% of the time with a car in his hand.

Day 15
Two shots taken while experimenting with the SX10...
I was just reading about capturing sun flare & how to do it (bump up your F stop). I set my camera to Aperture priority & gave it a whirl using our beloved dogwood tree. This was taken at f8. I love how it looks!
This shot was taken with the camera's super macro feature. I love how you can see the grain of the ribbon (which was actually leftover from my wedding dress).

Day 14
Day 13
Logan's birthday party was today (May 31.) Not much time to have creative camera work, but the important thing was to capture the day.
He was playing with a few of his cars and stopped briefly to lay his head on his arms. Not sure what was going through his little mind, but I thought it was cute.
This picture is merely for posterity. ;) Yummy ice cream cake decked out with a Cars theme.
